Abstract

In today’s emerging work environment and organisational research employee engagement has become an important factor which influences organisational success. This study aims to focus on how positive psychology interventions can be effectively used to enhance employee engagement. Focusing on the interventions and practices that identify individual strength encourages positive emotions and support psychological and overall well-being. Through a systematic review of existing literature this study explores that PPIs increase employee engagement by fostering psychological well-being, interpersonal relationships and job satisfaction. Additionally, organization incorporating PPIs have lower employee burnout and higher employee productivity. This study illustrates a positive impact of Positive psychology to create a positive and more engaged productive workforce and also provides evidence in support of integrating PPIs into workplaces. It will provide insight to managers and HR professionals aiming to create mentally healthy workforce and enhancing employee engagement and overall wellbeing.
